AQUION ENERGY IN THE NEWS
February brought energy storage news from every corner of the globe. There were new projects in China and Japan, new policies in Australia, and new smart solutions in the United Kingdom! Plus, solar batteries continued to gain recognition for their importance in our global renewable energy future. Not bad for the shortest month of the year!
In cased you missed them, here were our most noteworthy posts and releases from last month:
- Aquion Energy Delivers Sustainable Battery System to Integrate with Off-Grid Solar Power at Kruger National Park in South Africa

One of our major announcments this month was about a project in Japan. We're partnering with Schneider Electric, Eiwat Solar, and RE-ENERGY to provide energy storage for Kyushu Electric Power Company. Read our press release about it here.
OFF-GRID is the source for everything you need to know about living off the grid. Of course, this includes off-grid energy storage! Our batteries are safe, sustainable, and perfect for living off the grid. You can read more about it in this Tech 101 guide!
This article originally appeared on Grist and features and interview with our VP of Product, Matt Maroon. While batteries may not be a the sexiest piece of technology (the article compares our Aspen batteries to a "Rubbermaid bin full of seawater"), their potential to shape the future of our energy consumption is massive.
